Sisters (2015)
Me and my sister are big fans of Amy Poehler so we went to see this at the cinema as soon as it came out. Poehler and Fey play forty something sisters who have to deal with their parents selling their childhood home and decide to have one last party. A lot of fun and there was one scene that had the cinema howling. 3.5/5

Ex_Machina (2015)
A sci-fi mixed with a psychological thriller about a young man who finds himself part of an experiment to test the artificial intelligence of an android. This had so many twists and turns it made you question everything. Very clever and really gripping. It leaves you with a lot to think about. 4/5

The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)
I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to get around to watching this film but I'm glad I finally have. As you'd expect from a Wes Anderson film it is visually beautiful. It is also quite funny, very sweet and a great watch about a concierge of a hotel in the 1930s who finds himself accused of murder. 4/5

Cake (2015)
This film got me way more emotional than I expected! A drama about a woman who suffers terribly with chronic pain and begins to see visions of a woman from her support group who committed suicide. This film was mainly about moving on, and coming to terms with tragic events and it showcased that Jennifer Aniston can do so much more than silly comedy roles. 3.5/5
